4 Budget Friendly Fall Decorating Options

by Melissa C. September 30, 2015 2 min read

When you think of fall what often comes to mind? Cozy weekends by the fireplace, the color orange, or maybe even local fairs/festivals. When we think of fall, we instantly think about all the amazing fall décor and how we can upgrade homes with one or two simple tweaks. It’s time to warm your home up just in time for the holiday season.

You should never feel like you must spend a lot of money during seasonal transitions and if you don’t like certain colors and/or trends there are always other options. Maybe you don’t like orange?  Well, blue is also a very easy transitional color to use. You may not be into plaid, but chevron or gingham may be better options. Are you ready to get started? We have four budget-friendly fall decorating options just for you.

Mix it up with pillows.

Just like mixing patterns in your wardrobe, you can do the same for your home. Start with a neutral base and add in patterns and prints with throw pillows! Adding in new pillows to your already existing couch will take your home from summer to fall instantly and is also budget friendly. We have some amazing options to get you started.

Stick with tradition.

Traditional pieces will go a long way. A rug is more of an investment piece and if you want a rug that will be around for a long time, traditional is the way to go. The trend never goes out of style when it comes to these types of rugs; they’re timeless. Are you thinking about purchasing a rug this fall? Try a traditional rug. You’re able to switch up your style as the seasons change, but your rug will always be the key piece. We have an amazing selection of traditional rugs that can live in your space all year long.

Natural textures.

If you’re looking to soften a room, natural textures is the perfect trend for your home. Crushed bamboo or bundled rattan will give any bedroom, dining area, or living room the perfect balance. From accent chairs to wall art, we have great options.

Add untraditional seating.

Coffee tables have always been the go-to storage and décor for any living space. We fill them with plants, books, and other home accessories. What if we changed things up a bit? Sell that coffee table and replace it with an ottoman. Bringing a new ottoman in gives you extra seating during the holiday season, a place to store your fall/winter throw blankets and the perfect conversation piece for when friends come over. Ready to shop now?

Hopefully, we’ve left you inspired to decorate for fall. Don’t forget we’re still celebrating our 20th Anniversary with a sale. You can get up to 60% off on some of the items listed above and more. Remember decorating as the seasons change isn’t hard and it shouldn’t break the bank. All you have to do is find the right accessories that compliment your space!

Happy Shopping.
