Rug & Home's latest store opened in Pineville, NC in 2019. The founders of Rug & Home noted the numerous requests to open another physical location to service the ever-expanding south Charlotte market. The newest Rug & Home store in Pineville, NC is located in the former Thomasville building. Situated in the historic “Furniture Row”, the new location will boast a wide range of handmade rugs, hundreds of custom options, top name brands like Karastan, Calvin Klein, and Magnolia Home, as well as a replica of the world’s oldest rug the Pazyryk.
In addition to the Pineville, NC location Rug & Home has three other locations. Founded in Asheville in the mid-1990s, Rug & Home expanded to upstate South Carolina in 1998 and later to Kannapolis in 2010. The brand has long been a sought after locale in the Carolinas for fine home furnishings.
Customers will also enjoy learning how Rug & Home’s highly curated collection of rugs are sourced and crafted through the interactive digital display being installed as a highlight in the store.

Was not expecting to be greeted immediately upon entering the store by an actual salesperson (Julie) who was extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent advice. Who has customer service like this anymore? I only bought a couple of rugs, but the furniture looked high end and tons of variety.

Lisa was absolutely fantastic! She worked with us for hours and remained patient and kind. She helped us find the perfect rug! Price was great as well.

Antoiene and Kevin were excellent , precise and efficient and I would highly recommend them to anyone for delivery services and for anything else. Brandy was excellent too. Oscar was very helpful with my correction order. I highly recommend this store again and again.

If you're looking for area rugs and runners, pads, you came to the right place. Prices seemed reasonable, for what you got. Very large facility, well maintained and rugs are placed in a very well manner. Michael helped us out in picking an outdoor rug. We bought one 8 by 10 outdoor rug . Collection is amazing , lot of options to choose from plus michael answered ... all questions. Definitely worth a look, read more

We are in search of a rug for our living room so I went to R and H to see what they had. Not only do they have an amazing selection of rugs of every kind, but they honestly have the kindest, knowledgeable employees as well! Have knew his stuff inside and out. Was he was patient, personable and friendly. In fear of making a mistake on my rug choice, he assured me ... of their 100% return policy within the time period so that I could take it home and see how it looked in my room with different lighting etc. I, NOT being a rug expert was thinking “a rug is a rug…I love the rug, I’m sure it’ll be fine…” Meegan was wonderful as well helping me to understand that’s not always the case and again explaining the reason for the 3 day grace period to see if the rug was a fit at my home. At checkout I met Hannah, she too was so kind and engaging. And finally Tim, he loaded up my car and again, he was kind and engaging (and strong! That rug was heavy!!) Alas and sadly, the rug did not work. 😔 They were SO right in making sure all the components of the room: the lighting, the furniture, the paint color etc, all work together when choosing a rug. My experience of (sadly) returning the rug was easy and efficient. I can’t say enough great things about Rug and Home. We will definitely go back when looking for a rug! read more
